My cutting edge seminar paves the way toward understanding and creating an effective marketing video for the web. Other chamber evaluations below show just how valuable this seminar is to small business owner’s wanting to lure sales from the vast internet market.
Some recent facts:
- “TURNHERE” (Video marketing survey Oct. 09)
Results found online video is the top marketing priority for 2010, edging out both e-mail and search engine marketing.
“Video may represent the next big Apple push” say execs. Oct. 30.09 - Three top Apple executives were interviewed by RBC Capitals Mike Abramsky, CFO Peter Oppenheimer, VP for iTunes and internet services, Eddy Cue and David Moody, VP for worldwide Mac marketing. The execs. note that video is seen as the next “exploding” opportunity after music.
From comscore Video Matrix
Nearly 178 million U.S. Internet users watched online video during April 2010. In other words, 83.5% of the total U.S. internet audience viewed online video that month.
Athe same time 21.7 million Canadian Internet users watched over 4 billion videos in April.
During April, 135.7 million Americans watched 13.0 billion videos on YouTube.com. That's 96 videos per viewer in the U.S. During the same month, almost 19.2 million Canadians watched over 2.1 billion videos which is 109.5 videos per viewer in Canada.
If anyone still wonders if YouTube is bigget than a bread box, tell them this: 450 million people view more than 60 billion videos each month on YouTube.com. If YouTube were a nation, it would be the populous country in the world -- behind the people's Republic of China and India.

· Video was once for home movies – now, business is all about using video to sell your product.
· Are your customers on the web watching your competitor’s videos – instead of yours?
· How can your business possibly compete with social media on the web without your own video?
Video is increasingly
becoming the biggest marketing tool for business
The recent down turn in our economy has caused consumers to tighten their purse strings. As a result business owners must look for new, creative and inexpensive ways to reach their target market The web is where it’s happening.
With the advent of new technology, for the first time, business owners can now present their sales message in the video format along with the traditional newspaper, radio or flyer advertising. In addition DVD creation and distribution to clients is no longer outside the budget of small business.
Online video is “red hot”. It's being used in many ways and delivered anywhere your target audience is. The U.S. election was a watershed mark for streaming video in terms of the length of time and number of viewers. Marketers should be device indifferent since users may view your content on mobile devices, computers, and flat-screen televisions
To better understand the state of online video, consider the following:
- The average length of online videos is 4.1 minutes.
- 65 percent of online video views were streamed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, making this video primetime due to the faster Internet connections available at work, reported Nielsen Online.
- 44.9 million viewers watched 423.3 million videos on MySpace Sites (9.4 videos per viewer).
The cost of hiring a video production company can be expensive but
by learning some inside secrets there is a way that a small company using an in house camcorder can produce their own inexpensive professional looking, and sales boosting video for the internet.

...one of the most exciting outcomes of your visit Barry, is that you attracted the interest of some of our chamber risk takers and creative thinkers. “Your presentation to the school not only explained a variety of career possibilities, but may also foster an expanded program at the school. Serendipity of your talk at the school is the potential for first-time relationship between the school and the Thompson Chamber of Commerce. Relationships such as this are invaluable to building new futures for communities such as ours. Barry we were hoping you would plant seeds for us and you did. But you also opened doors for many people. You certainly surpassed all our expectations. Thanks so much for all you've done”.
Penny Byer,
